About Erik

Fractional COO for growing businesses

I help founders and CEOs turn complexity into clear decisions. My role is to align people, systems, and execution so growing companies can scale without losing momentum.

Over my career I’ve led operations, managed finance functions, and developed systems that connect vision to execution. I’m at my best when partnering with ambitious leaders who are moving fast to build something meaningful, but know they can’t do it all alone.

I’m not a flashy turnaround consultant or a framework-first thinker. I’m a grounded operator with high standards, sharp tools, and a focused presence.

I work solo by design. That means you always get me, not handoffs to a junior team. My work is tailored, not a template. I’m based in Denver and work with leadership teams across the U.S., both remotely and on-site.

What You Can Expect

I’ll meet you where your business is right now.

I’m built for small business. I understand the passion and the temerity it takes to grow something from scratch. I’ve seen successful exits and painful collapses. I know that small businesses are often messy, iterative, and held together with duct tape and work-life balance that’s… suboptimal. Clients bring me in when decisions matter, stakes are rising, and they want a calm, independent operator who can think clearly under pressure.

Your business might be dragging some ugly legacy systems. You might need to keep running on Excel because Oracle isn’t in the cards. I get that. I don’t arrive with a prepackaged method or a branded system. I show up, listen carefully, understand your opportunities and constraints, and help you design the next iteration that actually fits your team, your tools, and your timing.

What this looks like in practice:

  • Focusing on the highest-leverage processes, not comprehensive reinvention

  • Building resilient systems that are easy to adopt

  • Documenting as we go, so your team can train and scale what works

  • Adapting to your team’s working style, whether that means Slack or whiteboards

  • The goal is always momentum, not perfection

Curious if I might be the right fit for your team?
